Job Description
Conduct individual and group advising that includes academic planning, connecting students with appropriate university resources, and communicating relevant information; review semester grades and initiate outreach for academically at-risk students; teach first-year experience or transition course(s).
Additional duties include (but are not limited to): working with new student and transfer orientation; supporting advising and retention initiatives; meeting with continuing, returning, and CCP (post-secondary) students; supporting campus events; acting as a resource for faculty and other professional advisors; and serving on committees/working groups. Position affords opportunities for additional project-based contributions and cross-training development. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Academic Advising.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and at least three years of post-baccalaureate work experience in a relevant field.
