We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Canfield, Ohio. This Contract-to-Permanent position is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to build their career in accounting while gaining hands-on experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger tasks. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and record journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Support the creation of financial statements and internal reports for management review.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for audits and internal processes.
• Provide assistance during audits by gathering and supplying required documentation.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Execute special accounting projects and other related tasks as assigned.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail paired with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Prior experience or internship in accounting is preferred but not required.
