We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join a dynamic financial services team in Tustin, California. This Contract-to-permanent position offers a great opportunity to develop foundational accounting skills while contributing to essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist in monthly account reconciliation tasks.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Organize and maintain financial documentation to support internal audits and compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address invoicing or payment discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable accounting regulations.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Internship experience or up to 1 year of accounting practice is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or NetSuite is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting processes and tools.
