Education Level:

Minimum: HS Diploma or Associate's Degree (2 Year)

Preferred: BS degree in Accounting

Experience: 2 – 4 years; previous accounting experience preferred

Job Summary

Supports a family office of companies. Responsible for billing, accounts receivable/payable, or other business related transactions. Prepares P&L, Balance Sheet reports and maintains records of all applicable transactions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
• Update and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
• Recording of debits and credits.
• Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers.
• Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
• Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
• Calculate payroll labor distributions and record accurately
• Support collection of tax information for CPA firm
• Prepare Sales tax
• Maintain intercompany billings

Salary

• $50,000 - $60,000 Annualized (plus benefits)
