Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this role, you will support the accounting department by handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile discrepancies in financial statements and reports.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and update spreadsheets for accounting purposes.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and payments with professionalism.
• Assist in preparing financial documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with invoice processing and reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data organization.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
