Overview The Army and Missile Defense Systems Program Director is responsible for the technical, financial, and programmatic execution of programs within the Army & Missile Defense Systems (AMDS) portfolio. The individual will serve as the primary interface with customers on all technical and programmatic matters related to the contracts for which they are responsible. The Program Director will report to the CEO. Responsibilities Provide oversight and program management leadership to programs within the portfolio to fulfill customer and program requirements. Lead the execution of all program resources, ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements and budgets. Identify and mitigate technical, financial, and contractual risks during program execution. Ensure the quality of products and services meets corporate standards and customer expectations, aiming for 100% on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Develop customer relationships to enable organic growth and foster teaming and collaboration on new business opportunities within the market portfolio. Lead pursuit and capture of organic business development opportunities, collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team on strategic growth initiatives. Ensure effective communication among team members and customer stakeholders throughout program execution. Develop and track project and program plans and execution strategies aligned with customer and corporate requirements. Prepare program status reports and briefings for corporate and customer reviews. Provide monthly estimates to complete for each program and ensure accurate financial forecasts. Support Human Resources in recruiting to meet staffing requirements. Collaborate with corporate operations to define staffing, recruit, and develop technical and contractual reports. Adhere to corporate policies and procedures in daily duties. Maintain awareness of the corporate quality management system and its application to programs. Skills and Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of technical leadership and/or program management experience with Army and/or Missile Defense programs. Experience with hardware development and production. Effective communication skills with team members, customers, and senior management. Leadership experience on large complex aerospace or DoD programs. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills to manage work and deliver on time. Clearance Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
