Job Description

Our client, a major international manufacturing site, is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-date operation of the email and SMS programs, including but not limited to campaign execution, strategic list growth, performance analysis and optimization to help continue to drive company‘s growth as a successful, world-class outdoor power equipment brand. The ideal candidate will have communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay: $22.00/hr.
Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm (in office)

What’s the Job? 
  • Work with internal teams and external agencies to leverage insights and existing data sources to identify and segment customers by type (e.g., professional, consumer segments).
  • Engage with customers by effectively using 1P data and customer data platform (CDP) to optimize engagement (i.e., cadence, frequency, content).
  • Utilize select tech stack for email and SMS to create and automate B2C communication journeys. This includes mid- to lower-funnel transactional messaging such as cart abandonment, welcome series, browse abandonment, recommendations based on prior purchases, win-back/reengagement campaigns, etc.
  • Execute strategic email and SMS marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and optimize for continuous improvement. Stay updated on email and SMS marketing best practices and trends, including new technologies and regulations.
  • Maintain a roadmap and action plan to scale email and SMS programs, including messaging personalization and omnichannel campaign orchestration.
  • Research and identify new digital marketing trends and opportunities. Compare our approach to industrywide best practices. Work collaboratively with other marketing team members (e.g., content creators, designers) to ensure cohesive lower funnel marketing efforts. Collaborate effectively with regional marketing leadership to align content, timing, and overall execution of campaigns.

What’s Needed? 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or business-related fields preferred
  • Proficiency in enterprise level ESPs like MailChimp, Acoustic, Klaviyo, Iterable, etc
  • Strong understanding of performance KPIs, data analytics, actionable reporting
  • Detail-oriented, self-guided, curious, responsible & accountable
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaign timelines, as well as prioritize internal and external deadlines and deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
