Hospitalist Physician at Vandalia Health, Inc summary:

The Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient clinical care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure evidence-based, patient-focused treatment plans. This role supports the health of the community in a warm, outdoor-friendly mountain environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The physician must be board certified or eligible in Internal or Family Medicine and hold appropriate licensure to practice in West Virginia.

Job Summary:
The physician provides clinical care in an inpatient setting. Follows and directs evidence based practices established within the service line. Collaborate and coordinate the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure appropriate continuum of care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Graduate of Accredited Medical School. Board certified / Board eligible in Internal or Family Medicine. If Family Medicine, experience in hospitalist setting preferred.

Experience/Physical Requirements:
Experience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
• Active and unrestricted West Virginia License. Current Federal and WV Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate. Fully credentialed according to by laws of the organization.
