Job Description

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of transportation. This role acts as a critical point of contact between domestic and international supply chain teams, warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.

What You’ll Do:

• Schedule and manage carriers for container pick-ups and deliveries; evaluate and track carrier performance.
• Monitor all inbound container shipments (FCL and LCL) to ensure on-time arrivals.
• Audit transportation invoices and oversee payment processing for container deliveries.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to troubleshoot and resolve clearance issues.
• Keep warehouse teams informed with updated inbound shipment schedules.
• Monitor industry updates including port or rail disruptions and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate outbound shipments with customer-designated carriers and ensure accurate shipping documentation (e.g., BOL).

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of logistics experience
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000
