Litehouse is looking for a Logistics Specialist I to join our growing supply chain team! In this key support role, you'll help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, assist with transportation scheduling, and ensure smooth and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods. • Coordinate transportation for inbound raw materials, outbound finished goods, and bulk liquids

• Tender loads, assign carriers, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery

• Align transportation activities with inventory needs to optimize stock levels and reduce logistics costs

• Support order processing, prepare shipping documents, and monitor shipment progress

• Assist in weekly scheduling of drivers and equipment for coverage of all loads

• Help maintain regulatory compliance (DOT, FMCSA, FSMA) and support import/export processes

• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, preparing driver paperwork, and managing communication with carriers and vendors

• Provide day-to-day support to Logistics Specialist II and assist in ensuring accurate, timely movement of freight

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus

• 3–6 months of experience in logistics, customer service, shipping/receiving, or delivery support preferred

• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles, shipping procedures, and inventory systems

• Strong organizational and clerical skills, with attention to accuracy and timeliness

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); logistics software knowledge a plus

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
