Job Description The role of the Director Revenue-Hotel is to provide direction to property teams to identify, develop, and implement all potential revenue opportunities for 1 full-service, premium select, and/or independent branded hotel. This role offers integral support to the team, focusing on long-term and short-term goals, system reporting, tools, and accurate forecasting to maximize total revenue and profitability. The Director will also participate as a key member of the hotel's Executive Committee, as applicable. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to fulfill their responsibilities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree in business statistics, revenue management, or hospitality with at least 3 years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting and formulation. Understanding of hotel operations and yield management philosophy. Knowledge of PMS systems, internet and travel websites, and industry reports like Travelclick and STR is preferred. Ability to interpret financial data and perform basic arithmetic functions. Strong analytical skills to assimilate complex information from various sources and adjust strategies accordingly. Excellent communication skills—presentation, written, and verbal. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities. Approach all interactions with owners, guests, and staff in a friendly, objective, and service-oriented manner. Compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations. Job Responsibilities Manage yield controls in collaboration with GM/DOS to maximize revenue across distribution channels. Coordinate with front office to optimize inventory management, upselling, and sell-out efficiency. Work with Sales and Marketing on strategies for group and catering bookings and ensure optimal utilization of meeting spaces. Manage relationships with brand/third-party channels, analyze ROI, and optimize marketing efforts. Communicate effectively during meetings and facilitate as needed. Leverage and maintain revenue management systems, support forecasting, and reporting. Analyze revenue reports to make informed yield management decisions and perform displacement analyses. Test rate quoting accuracy and prepare market segmentation and performance reports. Review STR reports to assess performance and develop strategies to improve market share. Adjust group pricing strategies and serve as a resource for revenue management principles and system use. Participate in pricing processes and forecast planning. Contribute to financial reviews and represent the hotel at industry functions. Manage group cutoff dates and monitor daily hotel performance to adjust inventory controls. Develop and coach a team of revenue professionals, as applicable. Perform special projects and participate in committees and trainings.
