Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens position in Ohio. This exciting opportunity offers a 60-day assignment starting 05/12/2025, with weekday hours from 8 AM to 5 PM and OR hours from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of pediatric dental procedures including hygiene checks, restorative work, crowns, bridges, fillings, and extractions. This role also requires proficiency with Epic EMR and offers a chance for extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform pediatric dental hygiene and restorative procedures
Conduct dental consultations for pediatric patients
Carry out crown and bridge placements
Complete fillings and dental restorations
Perform simple, surgical, and full mouth extractions
Conduct procedures under sedation when necessary
Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and work assignments

Additional Information:

Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Ohio
Strong background in pediatric dentistry required
Comfortable working with children of all ages
Experience with sedation dentistry preferred
Excellent communication skills for working with young patients and their families
