CNN is seeking a Producer for its new streaming service. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional editorial judgment, creative storytelling instincts and advanced video editing abilities to help create compelling content for a new direct-to-consumer platform. The Producer will be part of a fast-growing team of video professionals responsible for delivering high quality content to our new streaming platform. You will pitch, write, and edit short or long form content while adhering to editorial and journalistic standards. Responsibilities include pitching and executing ideas with an eye for visual storytelling, composition, and pacing; skilled use of Premiere and After Effects; exhibiting creative vision and understanding of digital platforms; managing projects end-to-end and juggling multiple projects; familiarity with video performance metrics and audience insights; ensuring content complies with legal, rights, and editorial standards; collaborating with other producers, talent, external contributors, and production partners; owning pre-production coordination; assisting in pre-production, production, and post-production tasks; and contributing to a culture of innovation, creativity, and editorial excellence. Qualifications include 4 to 6 years of experience in digital news or sports environment, a bachelor's degree in journalism, technical production, or relevant experience, strong editorial judgment, proficiency in narrative structure, tone, and pacing, strong collaboration and mentoring skills, proactive ideation aligned with platform trends, strong research and writing skills, ability to manage timelines and work under deadlines, and expertise in Adobe Premiere.
