Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative

Pay Rate: $20.28/hour
Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Based, Must Work CST Hours)

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Healthcare Call Center Representatives . In this role, you will handle a high volume of calls while providing exceptional service to healthcare providers and patients. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment , have a private home office for HIPAA compliance, and meet all technology and internet requirements.

Key Details

  • Training: 53 days (CST hours, 100% attendance required)

  • Schedule: 8-hour shift during operating hours of 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST

  • Time Off: No scheduled time off permitted during training period

  • Work Location: Anywhere in the U.S., but must work CST hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high call volumes in a healthcare or insurance call center environment.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

  • Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently while ensuring accurate data entry.

  • Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

  • Troubleshoot issues, provide resolutions, and escalate cases when needed.

  • Maintain professional and empathetic communication while delivering quality service.

  • Participate in remote training and team collaboration sessions via Microsoft Teams and video conferencing tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Healthcare call center or healthcare-related experience preferred.

    • Familiarity with insurance plans (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial) and pharmacy benefit processes.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in navigating multiple software systems.

    • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, video conferencing).

  • Communication:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with active listening capabilities.

  • Problem Solving:

    • Analytical thinking and accuracy in case management and data entry.

Work-From-Home Requirements

  • Private home workspace with a door for HIPAA compliance.

  • Wired Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted).

  • Internet speed: Minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload .

  • Screenshot of internet speed must be listed at the top of the resume .

  • Webcam readiness for virtual meetings.
