At Wu & Associates, our mission is to leverage the wide-ranging talents of our staff to provide creative and conscientious solutions for technically complex construction projects. Our vision is to leave a lasting impression on the communities that we serve, one building at a time. We perform general construction, design-build, and historic preservation services nationwide. Our projects range from military facilities to national historic monuments. We pride ourselves on 35 years of delivering meaningful projects across 22 states and counting.

Description

We are seeking qualified candidates to serve as Traveling Senior Field Project Manager to oversee major construction project sites throughout the United States. Project sizes range from $1 million to $30 million and may entail design-build, new construction, renovations, historic preservation, and LEED green building certification. Prior experience with design-build is a plus.

Long term travel is required for the position. Candidates must be available to stay at out-of-state job sites for the duration of the project, with periodic visits home. Company housing and transportation are provided at the job site, along with a travel stipend.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Enforcement of EM385-1-1 and OSHA safety standards
  • Manage workers and subcontractors to execute projects to plans and specifications
  • Manage onsite relations with owners and site occupants
  • Enforce the execution of daily reporting for production, quality control, and safety
  • Communicate progress with Project Executive daily
  • Manage design phase deliverables with architecture and engineering consultants
  • Participate in preconstruction planning and procurement activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with construction project management
  • Ability to be stationed at out-of-state project sites
  • Ability to lead effectively in a positive, assertive manner
  • Passion for safety and the enforcement of such on construction project sites
  • Satisfactory passing of in-depth criminal background check and drug testing

Preferred
