Position Overview This position serves as the field team lead, providing functional direction to field staff and acting as the primary escalation point for customer, vet, or store partner issues. The role involves driving company vehicles to vaccination clinics and ensuring overall performance and operational compliance during the clinics. Essential Job Functions Provide functional direction and supervision to the field team. Perform all clinic roles effectively and coach team members as needed, potentially filling multiple roles. Safely operate company vehicles to and from clinic locations and the office. Lift up to 40 lbs as necessary. Communicate effectively with customers and partners, managing difficult situations including pet incidents. Coordinate with clinic leadership to select locations, manage crowd control, and address issues. Ensure all clinic processes and paperwork are completed accurately. Lead discussions during daily commutes to foster a sales environment. Other Duties and Responsibilities Handle revenues properly, including deposits. Assist customers with paperwork for accurate medical records. Manage crowd control and pet waste, and handle disruptive pets effectively. Offer discounts to improve customer experience. Load and unload equipment safely. Train new partners according to the training plan. Understand and communicate Vetco medical recommendations and schedules. Communicate with store management to promote cooperation and success. Report clinic outcomes to the MOD, including sales and site conditions. Ensure the clinic area is clean and equipment is accounted for after each shift. Notify management of any delays or issues. Complete all paperwork and checklists accurately. Restock supplies and participate in training sessions. Prepare reports for each shift. Supervisory and Experience Requirements Reports directly to the Market Manager and provides work direction to rig employees during clinics or transit. Must be able to perform all clinic roles, possess excellent customer service, sales aptitude, animal handling skills, and leadership qualities. Must be comfortable operating vehicles and handling animals safely. Work Environment Primarily indoor duties, with travel required to clinics, possibly overnight. Physical activities include bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
