Full Time live-out Nanny required for an UES family with an infant daughter (born May 2025) starting Summer/September 2025. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child-related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their infant daughter in an active, engaging, and age-appropriate way. To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who is warm, experienced and who above all loves children. The first-time parents are looking for a long term partnership with someone who is a positive, responsible and reliable individual. The ideal candidate is someone creative, fun and engaged during wake windows and experienced with newborn and toddler milestones. Parents work from home, so strong communication and common sense/good judgment are key to this role. A drivers license is strongly preferred (no city driving expected) and travel is expected with this role (CT live-in, domestic + international travel). Location: UES, NY + Weston, CT (50/50 split between both family homes is expected) Start date: Summer/September 2025 (flexible start date - in place no later than September 2025) Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours/week with ability to flex up to 50-55hrs during weeks in CT. General schedule to land Monday through Thursday when based in NYC. During CT weeks, typically 3-4 nights per week will be expected (generally mid week days off), with flexibility to support the family for adjusted schedules (ie. full weeks in CT, etc). Children: Daughter (born May 2025) Conditions: $33 - $38 per hour* (paid as a W2 employee) plus monthly metrocard and standard sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations. The family is open to offering a healthcare stipend based on candidate needs. For further consideration, applicants must possess the following: Work authorization is required for this role A minimum of 5-10 years experience as a nanny (NYC experience preferred) Recent and consistent experience working with an infant A well-suited demeanor for working with infants and eventual toddlers Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence Proven tenure with multiple families including excellent references Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development An open and flexible schedule to support the family (including frequent live-in support at their home in CT, international + domestic travel) Ability to complete all child-related duties (including, but not limited to: child meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying nursery and play areas, child's laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc).
