Project Safety Manager – Industrial Construction

📍 Location: Lima, OH

💲 Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 + Annual Bonus Potential

Are you a safety professional with a strong background in industrial construction? We're working with a top-tier specialty contractor seeking a Project Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on major industrial projects in the Lima, Ohio area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safety leadership, coaching, and support to project and field teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal safety policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver safety training to site management and crews, focusing on accident prevention.
• Maintain proactive relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct regular safety audits, observations, and committee participation.
• Administer site safety programs, including industrial hygiene and drug testing.
• Mentor and manage local safety specialists and training initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations and maintain comprehensive safety records.
• Analyze safety trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent the safety program during client meetings and report safety metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive safety experience in construction or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (OSHA 10/30, OSHA 500), 29 CFR 1910 & 1926.
• Familiarity with insurance programs and regulatory compliance.
• Certifications and ongoing professional development preferred.
